Funding and tailored support for social entrepreneurs

An award scheme from UK-registered charity UnLtd is providing funding and tailored support to social entrepreneurs, to help them grow their social venture and become social leaders.

50 per cent of the awards will be allocated to go to Black, Asian and minority ethnic social entrepreneurs and/or disabled social entrepreneurs.

Applications are being accepted from:

  • Those that have an idea or are in the early stages of development - Grants of between £500 to £5,000 available, a package of support tailored to suit you, specialist advice from relevant experts
  • Those that have an established organisation -  Up to £15,000 of funding to support wages and living costs, 12 months mentoring and tailored support, connections to investors, corporate partners and other successful entrepreneurs

Social entrepreneurs must be aged 16 and over and living in the UK to apply. In order to be eligible they must also:

  • Be willing to participate in a learning experience
  • Be working to benefit people living in the UK
  • Have a real social impact
  • Fulfil a clear need and demand
  • Have clear outputs and goals

The next application deadline is 11.59pm on Wednesday 30 June 2021.
