The Department of Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) has announced the Digital Inclusion Innovation Fund, aimed at supporting projects that help digitally excluded people get online and build skills in using digital tools.
The Fund is looking to support:
- Innovative interventions that generate new knowledge on ‘what works’ and strengthen the evidence base for effective digital inclusion projects.
- Best practice initiatives with the potential to scale and be replicated across England, increasing digital participation.
Grants of £25,000 to £500,000 are available to local authorities, combined authorities, charities, research organisations, and consortiums. Projects of all sizes are encouraged to apply.
Organisations interested in submitting a bid can contact the Digital Inclusion Workstream for support at sfh-tr.nottsdigitalinclusion@nhs.net.
They also encourage applicants to share details of their submissions so the Integrated Care Systems Digital Inclusion Board can stay updated on local initiatives.
