Building Resilience in Ethnically Diverse Communities

Registration is closed for this event
Join us for this free, in-person training delivered by Al-Hurraya, designed to enhance your skills, and give you the tools to provide culturally appropriate mental health and wellbeing support that celebrates diversity and fosters empowerment for the communities you serve.

Earlier last year, NCVS engaged with community organisations to understand why some communities (especially those from South Asian backgrounds) were not accessing NHS Talking Therapy services.

Based on the findings of the engagement, we're pleased to say that we've partnered with Al-Hurraya to deliver training for community leaders and organisations supporting diverse communities.

This training session is being delivered in-person at Broadway Cinema, Nottingham NG1 3AL on Wednesday 17 April 2024, starting promptly at 1pm and finishing at 4pm. Places are limited and registration is required.

Please note that two training sessions will be delivered on Wednesday 17 April 2024. This afternoon session is a repeat of the morning session which runs from 9.30am to 12.30pm. If you would prefer to attend the morning session, please book here.
