Purpose of Role:
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with the efficient running of a friendly community Cafe and Bakery in Lenton. The position could involve serving customers and general kitchen duties, but will vary depending on volunteers skills and interests.
We ask all volunteers to commit to at least one two-hour shift per week, but if you'd like to do more that would be fantastic.
We welcome regular volunteers and short term volunteers particularly during the summer holidays.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
No specific skills are required. Enthusiasm and willingness to integrate with different sectors of the community is desirable.

Induction includes an informal chat for about half an hour and then training on two hour shifts until volunteer feels confident. Training is given by other volunteers and hygiene training is available for all volunteers.
