Purpose of Role:

Set in beautiful and unique surroundings, the Canalside Heritage Centre in Beeston is looking for friendly, helpful, vibrant and passionate volunteers to welcome visitors, help on our welcome desk and in our gift shop.

Role Description:

Are you a real people person, able to welcome and enthuse, listen and help? Do you love variety and being busy? Would you like to make a difference? Join our team and welcome visitors to our Heritage Centre.

Retail and Welcoming Volunteers are trained to assist in a wide range of duties and activities including:

Working as part of a team to provide excellent and friendly customer service.
Assisting visitors with their purchases and successfully operating the till by processing card and cash payments.
Replenishing stock by making sure shelves are well-stocked, visually
appealing, clean and tidy.

Skills and Qualifications:

Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure during very busy times

Ability to work as part of a team.
