The Triangle Trust is currently accepting applications from across the UK for projects that work with young people with criminal convictions (up to the age of 25 years) to find meaningful and secure employment.
The application process has two stages. Following the submission of your initial online application, shortlisted applicants will be asked to host an assessment visit with the Trust's Director. The Triangle Trust visits more organisations than they can fund as they want to meet you in person rather than just reading about what you do in your application. The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Tuesday 26 October 2021.
Your organisation's average annual income over the past three years must be less than £1million and you must be a registered charity or an organisation set up with a clear social purpose. Grants of up to £60,000 over two years are available for projects which:
- Have specific outcomes and targets related to securing employment for young people with criminal convictions
- Show that they will also work with employers and provide post placement support to both employee and employer
- Demonstrate that they understand the wide range of challenges and issues that will need to be addressed to help a young person succeed on their employment journey
- Show existing work with young people who have been in the criminal justice system is already taking place and can evidence a track record of helping them to achieve positive outcomes.
Applicants must already provide employment support or want to add this focus to the current support they offer young people. For full details and the application process, please visit The Triangle Trust website.
