Up to £30,000 in funding, over three years, is available for local community groups to test new and existing ideas that achieve good outcomes for expectant parents and children (aged 0-4 years).
The money is being offered through the Small Steps Big Changes (SSBC) Ideas Fund and is available to local voluntary and community sector organisations working in one of the SSBC wards - Aspley, Bulwell, Hyson Green and Arboretum and St Ann's.
The fund can be used for ideas that with help local children and their families to:
- Eat well and be healthy
- Talk and communicate
- Be confident and understand their emotions
Projects will also be considered if they:
- Give parents and families an equal voice in decision making for the SSBC programme and create system change
Applications forms will be made available on the Nottinghamshire Community Foundation website from Wednesday 1 September. Check here for updates.
The closing date for applications is 12pm on Thursday 30 September 2021.
