Small Steps Big Changes sets up COVID-19 Ideas Fund

Local voluntary and community groups are invited to bid for a share of a new £50,000 fund which has been set up to support Nottingham families impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.

The COVID-19 Ideas Fund has been launched by Small Steps Big Changes (SSBC) in partnership with the Nottinghamshire Community Foundation. Grants of between £1,000 to £6,000 are available.

SSBC is looking for innovative and creative proposals from local groups that will help local children and families to:

  • Eat well and be healthy, including support for organisations working towards child hunger
  • Have good communication and language development
  • Be confident, friendly and understand their emotions and behaviour, as well as mental health support
  • Engagement in the community including community response coordination

The fund can also be used to support SSBC's commitment to make sure parents and families have an equal voice in decision making for the SSBC programme.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 21 June 2020.
