The Runnymede Trust launches paid training and development scheme

Passionate about racial justice in the UK? Thinking about a career change or new direction? Returning to employment after a long absence? Apply to join The Runnymede Trust on a paid 11-month training and development scheme, open to adults of all ages and backgrounds.

The Runnymede Unbound programme will focus on developing your skills, knowledge and experience in policy, communications, operations, partnerships and research. You are not required to have a degree or to come from any particular class or ethnic background to take part. What you will need is to be passionate about Runnymede’s work and be able to work with a high degree of flexibility, responsibility and autonomy. Successful applicants will also need excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the capacity to work remotely if required.

Applications are being accepted from anywhere in the UK. The deadline for applications is 31 January 2021.

The programme, which will start at the beginning of February 2021, will pay the London Living Wage or National Living Wage, whichever applies.

This is a full-time position, meaning 35 hours per week, but The Runnymede Trust is open to those who want to job share on a pro-rata basis.

Please call and speak with Carol at the Runnymede office on 0207 377 9222 for an informal chat about the scheme.
