Police and Crime Commissioner unveils £350k for crime prevention

Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner Paddy Tipping has launched a fund worth around £350,000 for third sector organisations who are looking to reduce knife crime and serious youth violence, amongst other things.

A maximum of £25,000 is available to VCSE organisations for grassroots community safety projects through the Community Safety & Violence Reduction Unit Fund 2020-2021. Organisations may apply for one project only, with successful projects needing to be delivered during the period 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021.

The deadline for receipt of applications is midday on Friday 20 December 2019. To apply and find out more, click here.

If you would like advice on whether your project idea would be a good fit for the fund or have any questions, email grants@nottinghamshire.pnn.police.uk or call Claire Good on 0115 844 5998.
