Patient and Public Involvement Fund

Latest update: closing date now extended. Grants of £1,000 will be awarded to 15 successful groups in the East Midlands through the Patient and Public Involvement Fund from East Midlands Academic Health Science Network (EMAHSN).

The funding is aimed at health, social care, voluntary and third-sector organisations and groups who involve patients and citizens in research and healthcare. EMAHSN welcomes applications that encourage patient and citizen involvement in health and care innovation, transformation and improvement. They particularly welcome applications that demonstrate the involvement of seldom heard and underserved communities.

Applications to the scheme are now open and the closing date has been extended to midnight on Sunday 11 July 2021.

Applications for the funding will be considered by a panel including representatives from the East Midlands Patient Public Involvement Senate, an independent group of patients and carers with varied health and service user experience.

For more information, for terms and conditions and to apply visit the EMAHSN website.

If you would like to discuss your application or require support before submitting it, please email emma.coates@nottingham.ac.uk
