Get involved in Nottingham Castle's transformation

Nottingham Castle will soon reopen. The drawbridge will be down after a £30 million National Lottery Heritage Fund transformation that will establish the castle as a world-class cultural destination.

Last month, the castle launched its rebrand, displaying a brand new look ahead of its reopening in Spring next year. In the past few weeks, it has also revealed a new golden volunteer brand to help get the word out about volunteering opportunities to come. There is also a golden themed playlist which has been created on Spotify to promote the re-brand, you can listen here.

The castle is encouraging people to get involved and be apart of its transformation by taking part in 'Find Out More' events. The online catch-ups will give people the chance to share their ideas and thoughts to help shape the castle's new programme. The events will also include updates and information about the latest castle news, events and volunteer opportunities.

The Find Out More events will take place remotely on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 20 October, 10am
  • Wednesday 28 October, 1pm
  • Saturday 7 November, 10am
  • Thursday 12 November, 6pm

If you would like to attend any of these events or keep in touch about volunteering opportunities, please email Pippa Vidal Davies, Volunteer Manager, at pdavies@nottinghamcastletrust.org. You can also sign up to receive the Nottingham Castle Volunteer Newsletter here.
