YGAM are a national charity with the social purpose to inform, educate and safeguard children and young people against the potential harms of gaming and gambling. We do this by offering professionals free interactive online workshops and the resources necessary to put learning into practice. This course will cover how teachers can support young people but we also work with youth workers and other professionals who work directly with young people and can offer a bespoke session for you tailored to your needs.

Upon completion of the workshop staff will benefit from:

• An increased knowledge of gaming and gambling, including esports and loot boxes and the related harm involved

• Being able to spot the signs of gaming and gambling-related harms

• Access to free downloadable PHSE/RSE mapped KS2 – KS5 resources, including SOW, Lesson Plans and PowerPoints, as well as resources which can be used outside of a classroom setting, all can be adapted to be used virtually and YGAM can support with this

• A City & Guilds assured credential
