A free online workshop offering guidance and an opportunity to explore issues involved in opening up your organisation's services safely as lockdown restrictions are lifted.

Nottingham Community and Voluntary Service (NCVS) and Business in the Community (BiTC) have invited guest speakers from the business community and the voluntary sector to share their experiences of working through the pandemic and the actions that they are taking to return to face-to-face services.

As well as an explanation of the very latest government guidance, speaker sessions include:

  • Hannah Gallimore, Corporate Responsibility Manager at Central England Co-operative, talking about how staff coped with working under lockdown restrictions and the lessons the voluntary sector can take from this as we work out how to re-open our own premises and services
  • one of the Co-op's voluntary sector partner organisations talking about the experiences of both staff and volunteers
  • lessons that My Sight Nottinghamshire have taken from the pandemic and the ways they are planning to ensure the safety of their unique group of customers.

You will have an opportunity to share your own concerns, ask questions, and explore whether the changes we have all made during Covid could have a permanent place in our future.

Please register to ensure you are sent instructions about how to join the meeting using Zoom.
