This session will be helpful for those who are new to working with volunteers or those who want to improve or gain new ideas for their group's volunteer management processes, making it a useful refresher for more experienced leaders.
We will examine why a volunteer may be involved in conflict or dissent and we will work together to come up with some solutions to restore harmony among your team.
We will consider:
- What creates conflict in volunteering?
- Why do we get these situations?
- Resolution and prevention
- Supervision and support
- Having difficult conversations with volunteers
