This session will benefit staff, volunteers, community activists and management committee members/ Trustees/ Directors who are new to applying for funding, as well as those who want to refresh or further practice and develop their skills, while receiving supportive feedback
In this practical session, you will:
- Get time to practice completing key elements of a funding application, in a supportive group setting, and gain constructive feedback to develop your skills
- Learn how to avoid common mistakes in writing funding applications
- Learn how to identify and develop skills in what makes a strong application.
There will be opportunities to ask questions throughout. Please be prepared to write notes in the session, either on a device or with pen / paper in order to participate fully.
It would be useful, before attending the training, if participants can either identify a project for which they would possibly like to apply for funding, or bring along an example of a previous project in which they have been involved.
The session will take place over Zoom, so please make sure you have access to this software before registering for a place.
Payment is required at the time of registration. Click 'Register Now' for full instructions and to make your secure booking online.
