An online session for Trustees (or members of Management Committees) of organisations whose activities put them in contact with vulnerable adults or children. Cost: £15 per participant

 

Safeguarding responsibilities should be a governance priority and Trustees have a duty of care to those involved in, or affected by, their activities.   

This online training will cover the Charity Commission's expectations of Trustees in relation to safeguarding:

  • Trustee role in safeguarding
  • Reasonable steps to protect from harm those who are accessing services

A certificate of attendance will be issued following completion of the course.

 

The session will take place over Zoom, so please make sure you have access to this software before registering for a place.
