Get involved in your community

What would you do to make your community better? There are lots of ways you can get involved and start taking positive action. Whatever interests (or annoys!) you, we can point you in the right direction so you can start making a difference to your community immediately.

We:

  • Help you understand how the city works
  • Organise opportunities for groups to talk to each other and to Nottingham’s decision makers
  • Speak up for the interests of the voluntary and community sector
  • Support voluntary and community sector advocates to be involved in the city’s formal partnership structures

Each sheet is designed to give a flavour of some of the different ways that local residents and/or community groups can get more involved and influential within their communities.

It is designed to be used as a signposting tool onto further information but is not an exhaustive list.
