Better Boards
The Better Boards Project at REACH is all about building committees to help local communities. The project
focuses exclusively on:
- black and minority ethnic, faith and rural groups
- tailored trustee recruitment and placement (plus mentor support)
The specific aim is to bring further expertise, add diversity and gain from skills transfer to the boards
of those groups. The project will use the existing pool of skilled REACH Volunteers, who are willing to
become trustees or mentors. Skills on offer include strategic planning, budgeting, financial planning, marketing
and PR, legal, HR, income generation, ICT and many others.
