Friends Provident Foundation

Financial Inclusion programme (2007 - 2009)

The Foundation wishes to be a pioneer in thinking and action in the charitable sector on the use of financial resources to deal with fundamental issues. In short, we wish to use the Foundation's limited resources to encourage "the right use of money".

Trustees began their exploration of this theme by commissioning of collection of essays on "The Right Use of Money" (published by Policy Press - you can request a copy from them). This book covered areas such as macroeconomics, personal finance and philanthropy.

For the present, the Trust's main focus within this overarching theme is financial inclusion.

The Foundation is willing to consider applications from any type of legally independent organisation, but can only support work that is legally charitable.

For further information and exclusions look at their website.
