NCVS Radio Service
The broadcasts are heard by over 80% of the
Nottinghamshire population. The focus is on groups who find media
access difficult. Support and information is provided which enables local
people to access airtime on the two most popular radio stations in
Nottinghamshire, backed up by a helpline service.
You can hear our broadcasts every weekday
on:
- BBC Radio Nottingham Actionline
- Nottingham's 96 Trent FM Careline
Over the past year the Radio Service worked with a diverse range of organisations
including:
- The Gai Project
- Muslim Womens Organisation
- Nottinghamshire Disabled People's Network
- Action for Young Carers
- Womens Aid
- Local Advice Centres
- Clifton Pensioners Rights Campaign.
We welcome requests
for publicity from local community and voluntary groups and are
particularly interested in hearing from new groups or organisations who
haven't worked with us previously.
