What's the building for?
The Nottingham Voluntary Action Centre offers training and conference facilities and high quality office space for the voluntary and not-for-profit sector. In the reception area there is an Sessional Space and a Volunteer Centre where members of the public can find out about volunteering and volunteering opportunities. The building also offers office space and Virtual Office Space for small start up voluntary and community groups.

How can I book a meeting room?
Call Nottingham Voluntary Action Centre on 0115 934 8499 for more details or to make a booking. Booking enquiries can also be made by e-mail to nvac@nottinghamcvs.co.uk.


How much do the rooms cost to hire?
That depends on what sort of organisation you are, and when you need the room. Full prices are on the 'Hire Costs' page.


Have you any meeting room equipment?
Yes, you can use OHP, flipchart/pens, TV and video and a digital projector for Powerpoint. There are additional charges for equipment hire. Hire Costs


Is tea/coffee available when using the meeting rooms?
Yes, you can request tea/coffee, orange juice, water and biscuits when you book the room. There is a charge for this. Hire Costs


Can I hire the rooms at the weekend?
Yes, we can arrange for the building to be open in the evenings and at the weekend. Hire Costs


Is there any parking nearby?
There is no car parking dedicated to the building, but Trinity Square Car Park and Victoria Centre Car Park are both very close by. There are also a small number of metered car parking places nearby on Peachey Street and Mansfield Road. There are cycle racks for bicycles on Peachey Street too and secure cycle storage at Trinity Square. See also Getting There


Can you arrange our catering for the meetings?
We can recommend caterers on request.

How can I find out about volunteering?
You need to make an appointment to see one of our volunteers in the Volunteer Centre. Ring on 0115 934 8499 to make an appointment.
