Information about food banks in Nottingham

At Nottingham CVS we get a lot of requests for information about food banks in Nottingham - and so we have set up this page to share information collated by Hope Nottingham.

Below are a number of documents which you may find useful, whether you want to claim food, seek advice, or make a donation of food to a food bank. The attachments include:

  • A list of citywide food banks, up-to-date as of March 2015
  • A map of the food banks which Hope Nottingham run in the city
  • A list of city-wide community cafés
  • Details of the Advice Nottingham consortium opening times and contact details

Further information

Nottinghamshire Advice Network (NAN) have been funded by the Big Lottery Fund to create an online directory of food banks across the county.

You can access the directory here.

Advice Derbyshire also have information on their website about food banks across the whole of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. This information can be found here.

Finally, if you are looking to donate to a food bank you can bring items to the reception of the Nottingham CVS building. Full details available here.

We do attempt to keep this page as up-to-date as possible. Please note though that food banks do sometimes change their opening hours - and so we would always advise you to contact them in advance to check what their current opening hours are.

If you notice any out-of-date or incorrect information in our document, or would like us to add any extra information, contact our Policy and Communications Officer, Roz Kelly via email at
