A city where people take care of themselves and others. Where people are respectful and make time to help. Where people are looking after themselves; looking after their city; and looking after each other.
The Looking After Each Other campaign is a partnership between Nottingham City Council, Nottingham City NHS Clinical Commissioning Group and the NCVS. The campaign is running in November and December to encourage people to do more to help others. It gives ideas and suggestions of how people can make a difference in Nottingham. But it’s also about celebrating those who already help others. We’re promoting these on the new website www.LookingAfterEachOther.co.uk.
The campaign is being run by Nottingham City Council with Nottingham City NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Nottingham Community and Voluntary Service (NCVS). It is funded by a grant from The Better Care Fund.
Do you know a #LivingLegend?
Nottingham City Council are creating a Looking After Each Other ‘wall of champions’ – our #LivingLegends – to be displayed in Old Market Square in Nottingham over Christmas and New Year. They’re going to create a montage of photos of every person who is helping to make a difference – as well as those who have been involved in the Looking After Each Other campaign. We want as many #LivingLegends as possible to be part of this.
Take a minute to look at the Looking After Each Other website.
