Facilities & Disabled Access

NCVS aims to ensure its services are accessible to everyone. All the information available through this website is provided in English text (the main language used by the majority of Internet users). We have designed the site with the intention that it is fairly accessible, incorporating a simple font (Arial), minimum graphics, a clear layout and an easy-to-understand navigation system (how to get from one page to another without getting lost). However we accept that there is plenty of room for improvement and the website isn't accessible to a wide range of people, including: Also the site has been designed for certain browsers (the programme or application used to view these web pages). You are viewing pages which have been created as part of our initial website. Our intention is to work with local agencies and individuals who have difficulty using the web to increase the accessibility of this site as much as possible within the limitations of the technology. We are also looking into developing facilities at the Nottingham Voluntary Action Centre to enable people who face barriers in using the web, better access.
