NCVS isn’t the only organisation supporting voluntary and community groups in the city. If you ask us for help and we know about other specialist services, we’ll put you in touch.
There are plenty of networks in the city where you can link with, and get support from, other groups working in the same field as you, for example:
- The Children and Young People Providers Network is a network for local groups that work with children and/or young people. For more information contact j.lewis[at]base51.org[dot]uk
- Enable runs networks for learning and skills providers.
- HLG runs various networks for groups working with homeless people and others in need of supported housing.
- Nottingham Inter Faith Council can put you in touch with local faith groups.

- Nottingham Equal works to widen participation and representation of BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) stakeholders in local decision-making processes.
- One East Midlands is the regional body for voluntary and community sector organisations across the East Midlands.
- Self Help Nottingham provides support and networking opportunities for local self help groups.
