Community Support Fund
The Community Support Fund (CSF) is a small grants fund offering grants of up to £5,000 to voluntary and community groups operating in the New Deal for Communities (NDC) area. The NDC area covers large parts of Radford and Hyson Green, in the NG7 region of Nottingham. Located roughly between Gregory Boulevard and Cromwell Street, the area serves about 9,000 residents. Applicant groups do not need to be based in the NDC area but must show that their project will involve local people, as well as bring benefits to the local community.
The CSF cannot be used to support running costs of organisations, and the fund favours new projects over existing activity. The main aim of the CSF is to increase quality of life for residents of the NDC area through a variety of activities.
The fund wishes to encourage applications from groups new to fundraising as well as more established groups. Support is available to applicants, both in writing their applications, and developing appropriate documentation, such as a group constitution.
