Notice of networking and information event for the voluntary sector and Notice of Annual General Meeting
for 2007
Notice is hereby given that a networking and information event for the voluntary and charitable sector and
that the Annual General Meeting of the Nottingham Council for Voluntary Service for 2007 is to be held at
10.30am on 15 November 2007 at the Voluntary Action Centre, 7 Mansfield Road, Nottingham NG1 3FB.
Staff and volunteers of Affiliated Members organisations are welcome to attend. Only one person nominated
by the affiliated member organisation is entitled to vote at the meeting.
The Annual General Meeting will be held for the following purposes:
- To receive and approve the Trustees'/ Directors' Report and the audited financial statements for the
year ended 31 March 2007.
- To re-elect each of the following persons as Trustees of NCVS (such persons also serve as Directors
of the company): Honorary officers: Malcolm Reece, Marten Fraser, Ann Cartwright. Retiring by rotation:
Neil Horsley. Co-opted officers: Rowena Morrell, David Lane.
- To reappoint PKF (UK) LLP as auditors of the company.
- To authorise the Directors to determine the remuneration of the auditors.
The business of the Annual General Meeting generally lasts twenty minutes and is followed by the networking
and information event. A buffet lunch will be provided.
