Helplines

NCVS provide 3 telephone helpline services: Information is available for free to the general public and local voluntary and community organisations on a range of subjects. The helplines are open every weekday from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. If lines are busy an automated message service will allow callers to leave their details and one of our team of helpline operators will quickly call back.

The radio helplines (Careline and Actionline) provide back-up information to callers in response to our radio broadcasts on 96 Trent FM and BBC Radio Nottingham. The helplines also provide information to callers unrelated to the broadcasts. This provides a vital link to individuals to get information which can help solve problems and improve the quality of their lives. All calls are completely confidential.

The NCVS helpline provides information to local voluntary and community organisations about the diverse range of services available from NCVS and other local, regional and national service providers.
